What a day for the Crusaders Girls Teams ! And what a glorious day to be stood in the sunshine enjoying them get stuck into some brilliant rugby.

It was just fantastic to see sooo many girls in the green and gold playing their hearts out and supported by their family & friends.

We are all walking away today with a deep sense of pride and a huge smile on my face.
This is how well Crusaders did today, Sunday 9th March:

The U12s came away undefeated - played 6 games, won 4 and drew 2

The U14s smashed it - winning the tournament

The U16 played 4, winning 3 and only losing 1 (narrowly, against
Norwich - who walloped us earlier in the season )

U18s won 1, lost 1 ( but against a touring squad featuring Loughborough & England players… )

THAT I believe, is unprecedented.
What a long way we’ve come in three seasons
ENORMOUS and heartfelt thanks to every single coach, team manager & parent/guardian that makes it happen for the girls.. the time and dedication they offer as volunteers does not go unnoticed and is forever appreciated.
The sincerest congratulations to all the players for their successes and their team efforts as a Crusader.
They should be very proud of themselves as we are… (and not too battered & bruised )

Well played Girls - you’re amazing
See you all again on the 23rd for EC Finals.
Whatever the results, let’s take that marvellous team spirit and go fly our flag high again.
